I have a new larger Art Journal to work with that saves a lot of space but I still love working on Canvas.  I'm learning so many different things and still need to stock up on paints and stuff.

My local scrapbook store - www.scrappnsavvy.com - monthly swap class for July is: Christmas in July,  each person design's a 8 x 8 two page layout.  This is my layout.  I used the Silhouette Cameo and Bazzill's Christmas line.  What is cool about this swap is that you get a complete Christmas Album and all you have to do is add your pictures. Love this idea.

SUMMER TIME MAKING JAMS

It's that time of year - Summer - to make jams.
I've made Strawberry, Peach pineapple and for the first time Orange marmalade.  They turned out great and pretty easy to make.  I'm waiting for my FIGS to get ripe from my tree so I can make Fig jam,  on my list to still make is:  Fig, Strawberry pineapple, blueberry and Cherry,  I'm waiting for the Cherries to go on sale,  it seems like a lot but Alex has 3 room mates in college and he loves to share.When you make Jams it is well worth the effort and time because it's so fresh and they make great gifts.

Father's Day - 6/17/2012

My wedding day - June 10, 1989 - My dad has been gone 23 years now and he was a great DAD,  I remember that he was so happy when I got married.  It is a wonderful memory that I will
cherish forever.  Thinking of him on this Father's Day.
